Just Add Ink Challenge #196 - Just Add Christmas!

Hello my friends!

By the time you are reading this (I hope, if my blog scheduling was successful!), I will be in Singapore on my way to spend Christmas in Cambodia.

Over at Just Add Ink we thought this would be a perfect time for you to share your Christmas projects with us so that is what this challenge is all about!

The project I have chosen to share with you are some little goodie bags I made for the four little girls that live next door to me. I always make them reindeer food and this year I decided to add a few more little gifts to their bag, which was hand stamped and individualised with their names.

Supplies:
Bags: Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Papertrey Ink
Other: Inks by SU!

Bizzy Becs December Challenge - Christmas

WELCOME to another Bizzy Bec's Challenge and the last one for 2013.. and the last one from me as I have made the difficult decision to step down from the Bizzy Becs Design Team.

The Challenge for the month of course just has to be...

"CHRISTMAS"

and the Fabulous prize for this month is this gorgeous DIE....

Joy Crafts Die - Snowflake  donated from Bizzy Becs Online Store.....

To create my card this month I have used the adorable Little Santa Image from Bizzy Becs which you can find HERE.  I have coloured him with Copic markers and added some white sparkle to his jacket and some glossy accents for his cute little glasses which is a little hard to see in the photo. I also sprayed the background with a good coat of sparkle adhesive spray.

I also used this sketch from the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge for the layout of my card, although I have flipped it on it's side to suit my image better.

Thanks for stopping by, and thank you so much to Deb and all of the girls over at Bizzy Becs for having me as part of their Design Team!

Just Add Ink #193 - Inspiration Challenge

Happy Friday!

I hope that all of my friends and blog visitors from the US had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration. From all of the photos I have seen it looks like it was an awesome day.

I am just popping in today to share with you my card for this week's challenge over at Just Add Ink.  Here is the picture we are using for inspiration this week.

And here is my card. I have taken my inspiration from the wreath in the bottom right as well as the red stars in the top right image.

It was so hard to get a photo of my card because I kept catching my reflection in the silver mirrored cardstock!

All stamps and dies all from My Favorite Things.  I used the tiny stars from the Peek-A-Boo stars die.

Christmas Cards - No Stamping Required

Hello!

Things have been crazy busy around here but I managed to find some time to make a few Christmas cards a few days ago.  And I didn't even use any stamps!

All of the products I have used came from a card kit I purchased from PAPER DAYS. Although they specialise mostly in scrapbooking kits they do some great card kits too!  A couple of these cards are directly from the project instructions and a couple are based on some of the tags that came with the kit but I turned them into cards instead.

Once they were all finished I sprayed them with a good coat of spray glitter to give them that Christmas Sparkle :)

Seize The Birthday Challenge ... with some Texture!

It's time for another great challenge over at Seize The Birthday.  And this week we have a fun "Toppings"option to add......

http://seizethebirthday.blogspot.ca/2013/11/seize-birthday-with-texture.html

"TEXTURE"
to your card, project, scrapbook page or whatever you decide to create,
as long as you keep it Birthday related!

Any type of texture...let's see how creative you can be!

If your not a toppings kinda person, well.....you can just
stick with our usual "Anything Goes"Birthday!

For my card I have used two different embossing plates to create texture on my card, but left the design fairly clean and simple.  I have also combined the challenge with this week's sketch from Seize The Sketch

Embossing Folders: Hexagons by Stampin' Up!, Spots by Sizzix
Other: Silver glitter paper, cool Caribbean ink.

Just Add Ink Challenge #190 - Just Add Masking

Hello friends!

It's challenge time again over at Just Add Ink and this week we have a fun technique challenge for you!

I have to admit that the card I am sharing is not the one I originally had planned on posting. After spending quite a bit of time masking images and colouring them with Copics, I had just about finished putting my card together when I smudged it with ink! Don't you hate it when that happens? Tell me I'm not the only one that has stamping accidents like this. It's so frustrating.

So I then created this card, by creating a masked focal background for my card. I added a little sparkle and dimension by using glitter glue in the centre of the flowers.

All supplies are Stampin' Up!
